Random Acts of Kindness Ideas for High School Students

Teenagers can be a lot of fun when it comes to random acts of kindness because they can do a lot more than a toddler can. Today I’m featuring some random acts of kindness ideas for your high school students.

Volunteer in the Community

Have your high school student find a way to volunteer in the community. Maybe there’s a local shelter or non-profit event on your community calendar. Have your high school students get out there in the local community and give back their time to the locals by volunteering to help.

Share Kindness Rocks

Since your high school student is more independent and more artistic, they can have fun making kindness rocks and placing them all over the community. Let your high school students craft up their kindness rocks sayings and designs, then spend an hour walking around the community handing out kindness rocks to random strangers in your hometown or placing them at random spots.

Or create a Kindness garden at school. Plant flowers and add all of the kindness rocks in one area for everyone to enjoy.

Babysit a Sibling

If your high school students have younger siblings then they could offer to babysit so that their parents can go out on a date. This is an excellent way to encourage random acts of kindness by showing their gratitude for their parents’ hard work.

Babysitting a sibling is often an excellent act of kindness for high school students who are old enough to be left home alone for a few hours with younger siblings.

You can also mentor or tutor a younger child.
